On 24 November 2006, Alpine Butchery and Deli opened its doors for the first time. Alpine Butchery and Deli has become a well-known name in the area. Known not only for European cuts of fresh meat but also for the German styled cold meats prepared on site, all the recipes have been developed in-house, by our master charcuterie maker. Alpine Butchery has won the prestigious “Best of Joburg” for Best Butchery and also for Best Biltong on several occasions. The Deli also has a large selection of speciality cheeses and Bulgarian products. Behind the front of house, Alpine Butchery supplies many airlines, restaurants and hotels with our fresh meat, biltong and cold meat selection.
