The South Africa Sea Cadets is a non-profit organisation dedicated to training and preparing school-going boys and girls for a career in the maritime industry.

CRUCIAL NEEDS

The youth of South Africa are in desperate need of support, direction and a safe place to grow and develop. They face many issues including lack of role models, crime, drug abuse and unemployment.

WHAT SEA CADETS OFFERS

By joining the Sea Cadets the lives of teenagers are impacted in a positive way by developing confidence, leadership, team player skills, positive habits, adaptable thinking and motivation.

APPROVED SYLLABUS AND CERTIFICATION

South African Sea Cadet activities develops young sailors by holding weekend training, courses and camps. Skilled instructors are committed, giving of their time on a voluntary basis in a safe and secure environment. Training includes an approved syllabus and certification. Sea Cadets also enjoy career guidance and the support of maritime organisations.
